SmartNet - A small and exceedingly smart “thin client” computer for networks, POS, Internet telephony, PDAs and other mission critical applications.

SmartNet’s main technologies are based on XScale™ CPU core technology from Intel Corp. (INTC) and a number of other important technologies, like GPRS cellular modem from Motorola (MOT), WiFi, Bluetooth, contact & contactless EMV smart card readers, SD/MMC flash disk, 3.5” to 17” LCD screens with touch panel, Ethernet, PSTN modem, USB host, biometrics (fingerprint reader), mouse and keyboard.  SmartNet is supported with Microsoft’s (MSFT) embedded operating system, Windows CE.NET in combination with SmartChip’s high security service provider software.

SmartNet is available to OEM manufacturers as a single board for integration in advanced products such as credit card POS terminals, thin client computers, IP smart phones, wireless data communications and more.
